Chapter 2: Allnighter

Note from Penguin874: Ah, where to start on why this is so late...I've been working on this story since July, and it was going to be released on the following Saturday from Chapter 1, but I had to keep getting off computer, and barely had time next to a lot of things to finish this. I've been working bit by bit on this, and I am currently working on Chapter 3, which is called "Flank", which will be out Saturday, August 21, 2010. I apologize greatly for this delay.

The horizon was reddish orange, and the sky was a very dark blue. I could tell it was night even if I was colorblind. The last of the elite agents were heading out, but Eagle and I had some business to do. According to Penguin874's account of the case, the assassin did escape the college alive, but somehow not through the window.
Eagle and I decided to start our investigation in the kitchen, where the bomb went off. We entered through the smashed window, and realized the entire kitchen was pitch black, except for a few dark blue shades near the open window at the top.
As I said before, since the assassin didn't escape from the window, it means that this college has another way of getting through. There was a big gash in the wall, but that just lend into the main finale room, also where they held the interviews.
"Mark, look over here," Eagle whispered.
I glanced over at him, and walked over to a far corner. On the ground was a little photo of Sand and Mat fooling around. Probably Peng took a picture of them back then.
Wow...the college looked so much happier and full of life back then. Now it's destroyed and lots of gashes in the wall.
But...wait...this is right next to where the popcorn bomb went off..
"Eagle! The assassin purposely left this here!" I yelled as quiet as I could, which is impossible.
"What do you mean?"
"My guess is that this photo shows Sand and Mat near the window...maybe there's an exit near the window?"
Eagle looked uncertain at first, but then decided that any guess would help in this situation, especially when there were virtually no ways of tracking him so far.
We walked near the window slowly...and suddenly, I felt a rocking in the floor, a few feet from the window.
"Is this a secret passage?" I asked myself.
I pulled out a mini knife and cut a small square into the floor. Before I even sliced a little, the floor opened up. There was a small slide facing the right of the window. It must lead to the fore....
"EAGLE, JUMP IN! HE MUST STILL BE ON THE COLLEGE GROUNDS!"
I jumped in, with Eagle grabbing a small pack and jumping in to join the action.
A few minutes later, we popped out from going so fast and landed in the dark wilderness of Club Penguin. The grass soon took its place again. There was no going back on the slide.
"Well, there's no point trying to go back." I announced. "It's too dark over there anyways...guess we'll have to keep moving forward.
We both shrugged it off, and continuing going on.
About five minutes (as far as I'm sure) we spotted light from the distance.
"That light must be Tyran City," Eagle announced. "It's not far from the college, and it's where they usually got groceries and other needs during the season."
We continued to walk across the woods, when we suddenly heard a shake in one of the bushes. I looked behind me, and saw nothing.
But, in one of the bushes at the left, where Eagle Eye was, I saw 2 red eyes. It made me flash back to the eyes of the assassin.
"Hey, Eagle," I whispered. "Let's check that bush over there..."
PhotobucketEagle nodded, and walked over to the bush, and poked a stick into it. Suddenly, we heard a growl and knew something bad was going to happen.
A mountain lion almost as big as Eagle lunged at me, and my boss reacted right away. He jumped over at the lion, crashed it into a tree, and started to punch and wrestle with it.
"Mark!" he screamed. "Get a torch to scare it away! It thinks we're bad!"
I nodded, remember that if you rub two flint stones together, you can start a fire. I found two weird shaped stones near a tree, and saw a squirrel holding one of them.
"Hey, Mr. Squirrely Squirrel..."
The squirrel snarled at me, and then threw the stone at my head.
"Nice to meet you, too, wanna hang out sometime?"
I grabbed the two flint stones and started rubbing them together, and suddenly, a spark began, and after a second spark, a fire began, and I quickly grabbed a stick to put a flame on. I blew out the fire on the stone so there wouldn't be a forest fire, and then ran over to Eagle.
Eagle was on top of the mountain lion, riding it like a wild bull, grabbing its neck as he went. I waved the torch at the mountain lion, and it growled and ran away like a bully scares a little kid.
The two of us panted, and then saw that the woods ended here. I looked over at Tyran City and smiled. The hunt for the assassin will continue, and probably a crazy, zany adventure will come with it.

Chapter 1: Gold

I walked into the Ski Village this morning normal. I had a nice, warm hot chocolate from the Coffee Shop to wake me up, and already did some kicks to get stronger at the Soccer Stadium. I was ready to get my briefing from my captain, Sherman, or at least, as we call him, Eagle Eye.
Eagle Eye's first mission when he was a rookie a few years back left his left eye blinded, but G went on the case and gave him a robotic eye. Now, he can see the same distance from the Ski Hill to the Cove, which is very helpful.
I went into the Test Room, which, if you haven't been in it, is a black and gray room where a computer gives you a test to see if you're good enough for the EPF. It welcomed me, and out of the corner came the elevator, which rides you down to the headquarters.
At the headquarters, I checked to see if there were any new widespread missions (I work as an agent who does mini missions AND then those missions with Herbert are big ones). I couldn't find any, so I walked downstairs to the main meeting table. I saw my buddy, Zoom, who was welding a broken Spy Phone with his Elite Puffle. I walked over to him, and then sat down.
Suddenly, I got a call on my Spy Phone. The caller ID was Eagle Eye. I pressed the green button, and turned the phone horizontally to see his face.
"Mark, I will be a little late for work today," he told me with a straight face. "Checkers just won CP College, and I want to celebrate. I wanted her to win."
"I will tell the squad right away, sir!" I answered.
He gave me a sincere smile, but suddenly...it happened.
I heard a fire alarm go off, and saw Eagle Eye start coughing. A few penguins were screaming and yelling in the background.
Eagle was shaking the phone so much, I could see a few things around the room for a few seconds. I saw Checkers covering her beak with her flipper, and jumping off the stage. Then I saw a little penguin with a beanie trip, and get carried out by a father penguin.
But...the thing that seemed weird to me was the vent. I'm a secret agent, so I have a tendency to see things no one else cares to examine. I saw two red eyes in the vent, and saw that a large amount of smoke was coming from the vent. Then, I saw Penguin874 pull out a gun and yell something. I couldn't see much after that, because Eagle was already out of the college.
He looked at the phone, and continued to talk. "MARK! CONTACT GOLD 27 (Gold 27 was one of the biggie squads, which was filled with the higher ranked agents) AND TELL THEM TO BRING FIRE SUPPORT! THE COLLEGE IS RELEASING SMOKE FROM THE KITCHEN!"
I was so amazed at what happened, and shook my head to complete my orders. The EPF's sirens went off, and I watched agents grabbing knives and shields and a few helicopter drivers getting agents ready for takeoff. I looked back at the Spy Phone, where Eagle was writing chicken scratch on a notepad.
Suddenly, at the back of Eagle, a large amount of popcorn exploded from the back window. Everyone screamed, and Eagle told them not to eat the popcorn. Penguin874 was on the ground, laying in the popcorn, and I wasn't sure whether was dead or not.

I hoped for the best as I was forced onto a gray helicopter.

-----

I was amazed at the scene at the college. Penguin874 was alive, and talking to Matbolabc (THE BEST AND AWESOMEST CO HOST EVER LMAOOOOOOO!!! :D). I went over to Eagle Eye to check on him.
"Sir, report!"
"Mark," he replied. "I don't think it is safe here. It seems this is the worst terrorist attack on Club Penguin since Herbert flooded the island. Tell Penguin and Mat we need to relocate the students to a safer perimeter. I think the EPF has a small acre of land near a beach in south Club Penguin. It could hold them off till the end of summer."
"I'm on it."
I walked over to the host and co host, and told them everything Eagle told me. Matbolabc listened and nodded as he walked over to the contestants, and made an announcement:
"Umm...guys? The college is completely destroyed because of a bomb which is NOT like the one for the PSA. This one has gases in it which can poison y---Swimy, stop eating i---wait, nevermind, Swimy just died. Well, anyways, CP College is relocating to a camp in the wilderness until we can find this mystery assassin. It seems he's been targeting CP Skool for awhile, and finally got his chance, and nearly killed the host. Keep a good eye out, and be sure to sign up for getting in camp ON SATURDAY!"
I guess those words are pretty famous now.
I heard Swimy's getting in season 4 somehow. Are those rumors true?
